Privacy Policy 한국어
Effective: March 1, 2026 | Last updated: March 9, 2026
dududada ("we", "us", or "operator") values your privacy and is committed to
protecting your personal information while providing Salpim ("the App").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data in compliance with
applicable privacy laws.

2. How We Use Your Information

Where required by applicable law, certain data may be retained for the legally mandated period
before being securely destroyed.
4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
- Supabase Inc. – Database and authentication (US servers, Privacy Policy)
- OpenAI Inc. – AI image analysis (ingredient text extraction) and AI explanation generation. Ingredient label images are transmitted to OpenAI servers for analysis. Images are not used to train OpenAI models. (OpenAI Privacy Policy)
- Google ML Kit – On-device text recognition (OCR, fallback only). In this case, images are NOT sent to external servers.
- Google AdMob – Banner advertising for free and guest users. AdMob may collect device information and advertising identifiers for ad delivery. Pro users see no ads. (Google Privacy Policy)
- Google Play – Subscription payment processing. Payment card details are managed solely by Google; we only receive purchase confirmation (subscription status and expiry date). (Google Privacy Policy)
5. Camera & Image Handling
The App requests camera and gallery access to photograph ingredient labels.
Images are transmitted to OpenAI servers for AI-based text extraction.
Original images are not stored on our servers (Supabase) and are handled in accordance with OpenAI's data policies.
If AI analysis fails (e.g., network error), on-device OCR (Google ML Kit) is used as a fallback — in this case, no image is sent externally.
6. Security Measures
- All network communications are encrypted via HTTPS (TLS)
- Authentication tokens are stored in secure on-device storage
- Passwords are one-way hashed (not reversible)
7. Your Rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access and correct your personal information
- Delete your account (App → My Page → Delete Account)
- Request restriction of processing
Upon account deletion, all data stored on Supabase servers is removed immediately.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 14 years of age.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 14,
we will delete it promptly.
