Account & Data Deletion – Badapong 한국어

Badapong ("the App") guarantees users can delete their account and associated data at any time.
This page describes the deletion process and what data is affected.
1. How to Delete
Method A — In-app deletion (recommended)
- Launch Badapong app
- Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Tap Delete in the confirmation dialog
- All your user data will be deleted from servers immediately.
Method B — Email request
If you cannot delete via the app (lost device, changed phone, etc.):
- Email: support@browniebase.com
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include: email address used (if signed in via Google/Apple), or anonymous user identifier (visible in app settings)
- Processing time: within 7 business days
Method C — Uninstall app (anonymous users)
If you only use the app anonymously, uninstalling the app will:
- Immediately delete the anonymous identifier and preferences from your device
- Automatically purge anonymous data on servers (favorites, etc.) within 90 days
2. Data Deleted
The following data is immediately and permanently deleted:
- Anonymous device identifier (UUID)
- User profile (email associated with Google/Apple login)
- Favorite spots list
- Reviews you wrote (text, rating, activity type)
- Photos attached to reviews
- Likes
- User preferences (language, preferred activity)
3. Data Retained
The following data is retained in anonymized form for a limited period due to legal obligations:
- Server access logs (3 months, for security and legal dispute response)
- Aggregate analytics (de-identified statistics like DAU, screen views)
This data does not identify individuals and is automatically purged after the retention period.
4. Third-Party Data
Badapong shares limited data with external services (Supabase, Mapbox, Klook).
Upon account deletion, your data on Badapong's servers is immediately removed.
Data retention policies of external services follow their respective privacy policies.
Note: Klook booking records are stored on Klook's servers, not Badapong's.
Klook data deletion must be requested separately from Klook.

5. After Deletion
- Signing in again with the same Apple/Google account will create a new user.
- Previous favorites, reviews, and photos cannot be recovered.
- For anonymous users, reinstalling the app on the same device will generate a new anonymous identifier.
